About

Hello! I am a University of Waterloo student majoring in Systems Design Engineering. Systems Design engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering program that teaches students software, hardware, and mechanical design skills in order to prepare them to solve complex, multi-tiered problems using a user centered design methodology

Through Waterloo I have had the opportunity to intern at a variety of different companies. Each intern experience was unique, and I learned so much during each and every one. When I am not at school studying or at work working, I like to play sports, watch sports, read, exercise, set and accomplish goals, and play with my Kendama!

I worked on their core product, using a development stack of Django, DRF, React, Redux, and Lodash.

University of Waterloo - Systems Design Engineering

Since 2016 I have been studying Systems Design Engineering at the Univeristy of Waterloo. Waterloo is (in my opinion) Canada's best engineering school and Systems Design is (in my opinion) the school's most unique engineering discipline. In Systems Design we learn how to apply a multidisciplinary skillset and design thinking to solve multifaceted complex problems. We learn how to ask the right questions, empathize with users, and learn the skills necessary to build a solution.

Camp Mini Yo We

To balance out my tech heavy life, I like to spend some time every summer at Camp Mini Yo We. Camp Mini Yo We is a Bible camp in Port Sydney Ontario that is dedicated to building tomorrow's leaders through life changing adventures in God's creation. There I lifeguarded, cabin lead, helped operations, and instructed sailing. I love being in Muskoka, and take every chance I get to spend time there in the summer!
